Relating to the supply of the service to you (The Customer) by Cantrail Coach Lines Ltd (The Company), details of which are set out below.
E-ticket
Customer’s purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them by way of e-ticket. The Customer MUST print the e-ticket and bring the printed copy to board the coach there is no exception. The coach driver, or staff of Cantrail, will collect the e-ticket as a form of Ticket to travel.
E-Ticket redemption for round trip ticket
Customers with e-tickets must bring the printed e-ticket along with the credit card used to make the purchase or valid photo ID of the “Lead Traveler”, whose name is printed on the e-ticket. The Customer should present their e-ticket to the Cantrail driver, or staff of Cantrail, at the preferred boarding point. The member of staff will exchange the e-ticket (Round trip) for a valid Ticket for the return travel.
The Company reserves the right to refuse any e-tickets presented without either credit card or photo ID
Tickets to travel
The Customer is responsible for the safe keeping of their tickets as replacements will not be issued. The Customer must show or purchase their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of the company and must be produced for inspection at any point during travel. The Customer will not be permitted to use any services provided by Cantrail without a valid ticket.
Ticket validity – Commuter Booklet
The commuter booklet tickets are valid for ONE year from the date of purchase. Expired unused ticket has no refund value. All one-way tickets are valid only for the date selected at the time of purchase and printed on the ticket.
Lost tickets
Customers are responsible for the safe keeping of their ticket(s). Customers without a valid ticket will be charged the full ticket price for a replacement ticket. Lost or stolen ticket(s) will NOT be replaced or refunded.
Children
Child tickets are available for Children aged from 5-11 years.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Children under 5 years may travel without charge, if accompanied by a dedicated adult (1 adult: 1 child).
Fares
Fares are payable in either U.S. or Canadian dollars. Fares are date of travel and departure schedule specific and subject to change with any changes in schedule by the customer. Fares subject to change. Additional restrictions may apply during various times of the year.
Departure points and times
The Company endeavors to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require. Cantrail will not be responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather or other circumstances beyond the carrier’s control that may and can effect our schedule times.
Refunds
Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.No change of date or time on purchased ticket.
Accident and loss
Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.
Ticket agents
Where a ticket is purchased from one of the Company’s Ticket Agents, any query, regarding the ticket purchase or refund request, must be referred to the Ticket Agent who sold the ticket.
Customer conduct
Cantrail, at it’s discretion, may refuse service or remove any person(s) from any part of Cantrail(s) service if a person’s behavior or actions are deemed to be offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, driver and equipment.
